The Audi R8 is no longer sold new: Indian sales ended before global production stopped in 2024. That makes every current purchase a pre-owned one. The last recorded new-car price was ₹2.72 Cr ex-showroom, while today's value depends on generation, year, condition and provenance.

The R8 is discontinued. The new-car figure is historical; any current purchase price must be based on a physical inspection and verified history.
Only on the pre-owned market. Audi has no direct new-car replacement for the R8, although the RS e-tron GT now serves as its electric performance flagship. Well-kept V10 cars are increasingly treated as modern collectables.
Final-generation versions used a naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10, with the most powerful variants producing up to about 602 bhp. Quattro all-wheel drive and predictable controls made the R8 more approachable on the road than many mid-engined rivals.
Out-of-warranty repairs are expensive, so buy on documented condition rather than mileage alone. Commission an inspection that includes diagnostic history, accident repairs, carbon-ceramic brake wear where fitted, suspension, front-lift operation and underbody damage.
